Atlantis is one of the most renowned mysteries of the world. So many times have we heard about this strange world. Scientists are continuously trying to collect evidence about this lost world but still nothing has been achieved and nothing has been found.The question is no just about finding evidence rather the question is whether this story is actually true in the first place? We know from the famous dialogues of Plato that a world existed covered with mountains, home of the Greek god Poseidon, this land was Atlantis. This was the land full of prosperity, having so much resources that all it inhabitants could live in harmony for ever.
But according to Plato the city was inflicted with a punishment as a result of which the whole city drowned into the sea. The main reason for such a punish is described to be the corruption which started to prevail in the people of Atlantis.
Today scientists are in search for the possible location of this world. Since in Plato's description, no such thing has been mentioned therefore there is no such indication in history to give us a possible location of Atlantis.
